Ho Ho Ho!

I created this card a couple weeks ago. I liked how it was simple but on the elegant side. Then I looked at it a bit longer... and it reminded me of something... Santa's belt! LOL! So much for the elegant simple look!! Michael said to me "I hope that card doesn't have a zipper!" LOL!

Craft Show Booth and Dancing Reindeer!

Here's a photo of my booth from the Parnall School Vendor Fair. Pay no heed to the women in the background! I forgotto get one with ME in the photo, so I may try for it this Saturday at the Grantham Lions Craft Show :)

I laid out all my Christmas cards on the table, just one of each, plus a layer of my more intricate cards in front of my display. My display board needs a wee bit of attention, as some of the cards are askew! I have a catalogue display thingy for catties, and another cardboard thing for my non Christmas cards - thinking of you, get well, girl/boy birthday, sympathy, and some general non specific cards. Also, the pink bag was to hold my door prize slips, with a stack of customer care cards and pens in front of it. I gave away a 20$ gift certificate, and a stamp set that was retired.



And now onto the dancing reindeer!! I bought the set "Sparkly & Bright" a little while ago, b/c I saw some cute things done with it. Then I got stumped!! Thanks to my friend April, I now have a cute card that IS sparkly, with a fewdancing reindeer... we joke they are doing the can can! LOL!

Parnall Craft/Vendor Fair

I participated in this show on Saturday, and it was SO much fun!! HUGE thanks to my friend Jen for stepping in to man my booth while I went to London after lunch! I met many wonderful folks, paper crafters and non paper crafters alike!

I had decent sales,and made some fantastic contacts! I will be posting a photo of my booth later today when I bring the camera to the computer.

Thank you to all those that came to see me, support me, and to visit my booth at the show!! I am doing another show this Saturday at the Grantham Lions Hall at Niagara/Lakeshore in St. Catharines :) More door prizes, more cards, more fun!! :)

To Brighten Your Day!

I was chatting with my friend April, about fruity cards in the late fall. We both think folks don't realy want them! LOL! However, this card called out! It has a bit of holiday appeal, without the holiday sentiment!

O Christmas Tree!!

Not the song, the Big Shot Die! ! WOWZERS!!! It's amazing!!!
So... I got it for 14$ using the hostess special... think on it, I saved almost 40$!! :) WHOOT!

So here it is! I sprayed the trees on the front of the card with platinum shimmer paint mist - I put 3 drops into a travel sized bottle of rubbing alcohol. I sprayed the tree on the inside with it too. I will dress it up tomorrow, but it looks fun now :)
