Gift Card Holder

I am going to get a gift card for JA's teacher this year, as his end of year gift. Still trying to decide between Chapters, The Book Depot, Timmy's or Canadian Tire. Thoughts? ;)

I got this fabulous idea from my stampin' friend Roxy who has a great pictorial tutorial of how to make them! They are super easy, and really fun!

Here's mine :) The left photo shows the gift card holder put together, and tied closed. The right side photo shows it open. The gift card would go where the yellow post it note is inserted. In real life the ribbon matches better! LOL!



Supplies:
cardstock: SU! Pumpkin Pie, and Brilliant Blue
patterned paper: Pebbles Inc.
font: QK Sunshine (thanks Joy!!)
Stamps: Background Basics (SU!)
ribbon: double stitched grosgrain Wild Wasabi (SU!)
other: sticky strip to hold it all together!
